UPDATE 5/12/16: Due to board and host consensus, this opportunity will be rescheduled for another date, to be determined.
The Potomac Chapter is very pleased to announce a return visit to the home of Betty and Edgar Sweren. Betty is a well known book artist, collector, and teacher. She and Edgar have acquired an extensive collection of artist books and the Guild was privileged to see part of the collection last year. We have been invited back this year to see more of their collection including a new acquisition, a book by Susan Allix.
While there, Guild members will also be able to see other collections, such as hand crafts, contemporary furniture by George Nakashima and Robert Erickson, and glass by Dale Chihuly, Martin Blank, and Stephen Powell. The tour will take approximately 2 plus hours.
Rides can be provided. Please let us know if you would like a ride when you RSVP.
As this takes place in a private residence, please check your member email for directions or request same in your RSVP.
When: Saturday, May 14 at 1:00 PM
